"The BSKF is organised in a two-tier structure. The Senior Instructor Group (SIG) direct federation affairs and provide technical instruction. The second tier is a group of non-executive officers which manage and organise all aspects of administration and logistics under the direction of the SIG. Togther these foster, develop, control and administer the practice and development of ShorinjiKempo in the UK. This includes, preserving the teachings and traditions of ShorinjiKempo as founded by Doshin So and engaging in activities conducive to world peace.

Over the years, the BSKF has pioneered a number of projects to further the aims and objectives of Kongo Zen and Shorinji Kempo including the establishment of national charity events and the production of educational videos.
